An Injury Leading To A Necessary Remodel
A while ago, Mary experienced a fall and fractured her ankle.
It was bad.
Really bad.
“On December 26, 2023, I experienced a fall, fracturing my ankle in a way that my surgeon described as the worst fracture he had ever seen. As a result of my injury, I had surgery to stabilize my ankle on the day of the injury and then again on January 10, 2024, to insert plates and screws to support the ankle.”
After two surgeries, Mary’s home would need a few changes. One of which was the shower door.
“Consequently, my husband and I have had to make changes to our home to accommodate my recovery. One of these changes was to alter the shower door system in our master bath.”
With limited mobility, Mary would need a larger opening to make getting in and out of the shower easier. She would also need a shower bench installed.
“We needed a creative solution that would provide an opening wide enough to accommodate a shower bench and easily facilitate my limited mobility to get in and out of the shower.”

Seeing firsthand the challenges we were facing, he expedited the process so that when I was finally cleared to use the shower, the door was installed and ready to go.”
